Just a few days away from the Harvest Moon (also known as the fall equinox), and many of us are feeling the chill. It’s time to warm up and switch up our shell. I’ve been particularly obsessing about jackets as I’m in Banff feeling that crisp night air and longing for something new.
Young Native Jacket
A jacket that makes you feel like a star. That is exactly what this Young Native Colour Bloc 2 Elements jacket will do for you. Literally. Chinese star Ayi Jihu shows us all so clearly as she rocks out this caramel goat suede and chocolate lambskin number. A piece of work. Copper metal button front closures and fully lined. Angela Demontigny is the diva designer behind the Young Native line. She conjures up desire. This jacket deserves to be paired with the Natural Beaver Mukluk, a short skirt and tights, if you feel modest. You will never feel better.
Alano Edzerza Shell Jacket
Edzerza (Tahltan) has made an imprint on the sports apparel scene since he designed the Netherlands uniforms for the 2010 Winter Olympics. His woman’s shell is pure perfection for those early fall crisp nights. It has durable water repellency, with breathability features, including underarm ventilation. Most importantly, it showcases a show-stopping eagle design done in that northwest style.
This $400 beauty is easily paired with a pair of distressed jeans and the Harvester Grain Moccasin.
AbOriginal Apparel Bomber
Who doesn’t want to look like a bombshell in a bomber this fall? No one, that’s who. Deanne Hupfield, the designer behind AbOriginal Apparel knew just that. This modern take constructed with 100% virgin Pendleton Wool, cowhide, and a breathable lining. Virgin. All of that for just $500 plus shipping. The bomber would look bomb with a pair of black skinny cotton pants and a Mid Gatherer mukluk in russet. Fall perfection.
